1. About this Policy

This Policy applies to the Site and to Personal Data you choose to provide when you contact Magic using the contact details displayed on the Site.

The Site is a corporate information website. It does not provide user accounts, online forms, newsletter subscriptions, job application tools, or other facilities through which visitors submit information directly on the Site.

This Policy does not apply to websites, products, or services reached through links on the Site. Those websites and services may be operated by related businesses or other organizations and may have their own privacy notices.

Personal Data. In this Policy, “Personal Data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked with an individual. It does not include information that has been anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

2. Who is responsible for your Personal Data

Magic Software Inc. is the entity responsible for the Personal Data described in this Policy and generally acts as the data controller or business under applicable privacy law.

Magic Software Private Limited is a subsidiary of Magic Software Inc. It is not the controller for the Site unless it is separately identified as responsible in a direct communication or contract.

Magic Software Inc. can be contacted at the address and email listed in Section 14.

3. Personal Data we collect

The Site itself does not collect Personal Data through forms, accounts, cookies, analytics, or stored server logs.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we may receive the information you choose to provide, including:

  • your name and business contact details, such as an email address or telephone number;
  • your organization, job title, or professional role;
  • the subject and content of your enquiry or communication;
  • documents, attachments, or other information you choose to send; and
  • records of our correspondence and any action taken in response.

Please do not send health information, financial account information, government identifiers, or other sensitive Personal Data unless it is necessary for your enquiry and Magic has specifically asked you to provide it through an appropriate channel.

4. Cookies and automated collection

The Site does not use cookies or similar technologies. It does not use website analytics, advertising or retargeting pixels, tag-management tools, local storage, session replay, heatmaps, behavioral profiling, or automated decision-making technologies.

Magic does not retain website server logs for the Site. As a result, the Site does not maintain a cookie preference center or cookie consent banner.

Websites linked from the Site may use cookies or other technologies under their own privacy and cookie notices. Review those notices before using the linked website.

5. How and why we use Personal Data

Magic uses Personal Data received through email or telephone communications only for purposes connected with the communication, including to:

  • respond to your enquiry, request, or feedback;
  • provide information you have asked for and arrange follow-up communications;
  • take steps you request before entering into a business relationship or contract;
  • manage and maintain records of our correspondence;
  • protect Magic, its systems, personnel, and legal rights; and
  • comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, audit, or recordkeeping obligations.

We do not use information received through the Site for behavioral advertising, automated profiling, or unrelated marketing unless we separately explain the proposed use and have an appropriate lawful basis.

Legal bases. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Magic may rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent where required, or Magic’s legitimate interests in responding to business communications, maintaining records, protecting its operations, and establishing or defending legal claims.

6. How we disclose Personal Data

Magic does not sell or rent Personal Data. We do not disclose Personal Data for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share enquiries received through the Site with Magic Software Private Limited or other Magic group companies.

We may disclose Personal Data only where reasonably necessary to:

  • service providers that support our email, telephone, information technology, document storage, cybersecurity, or other business communications, acting under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors, or insurers, where their services require access to the information; or
  • courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorities where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

We limit disclosures to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

7. International transfers

Magic Software Inc. is based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, the Personal Data you provide may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, Magic will use an appropriate lawful mechanism and reasonable contractual, organizational, or technical protections.

8. How long we keep Personal Data

Magic keeps Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and manage your enquiry, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal or regulatory duties, resolve disputes, and establish or defend claims.

When Personal Data is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

The Site does not retain cookie, analytics, advertising, or website server-log data because those technologies and records are not used or maintained.

9. How we protect Personal Data

Magic uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.

These safeguards may include access controls, confidentiality obligations, secure communication and storage practices, and security procedures appropriate to the nature of the information.

No email, telephone, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to send electronically.

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data;
  • ask us to delete Personal Data where the legal conditions are met;
  • request restriction of or object to certain processing;
  • receive certain Personal Data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent for future processing that relies on consent; and
  • complain to a competent privacy or data-protection authority.

To exercise an applicable right, email mail@magicsw.com and describe your request. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful limitation or refusal.

Magic will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Magic does not sell or share Personal Data for targeted advertising.

11. Children

The Site is intended for corporate and professional audiences and is not directed to children. Magic does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children through the Site.

If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to Magic through the contact details on the Site, contact us at mail@magicsw.com so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

12. Third-party websites

Magic Software Inc. does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of a separate website. Review the applicable notice before providing Personal Data to that website.

13. Changes to this Policy
